EAST TO WEST, WEST TO EAST

As a supporting artefact to my BA Dissertation, “East to West, West to East” is a bilingual Arabic-Latin editorial piece. It was designed to highlight unique features of contemporary Arabic graphic design in the 21st Century, through the concepts and achievements of designers Huda AbiFares, Wael Morcos and Rana Salam. Including background information, visual references, and personally conducted interviews, the goal was to explore the effectiveness of cross-cultural communication and overcome the challenges of bridging two distinct visual languages harmoniously.
