Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show 2016/17

  • Bethany Gill

Edinburgh Charity Fashion show is organised by nominated student representatives from The University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Arts each year. Each year the chosen committee will choose a charity to represent, a theme for their show and organise, promote and run the event and the events surrounding it all by themselves. They must raise the money themselves, find event sponsors and sell tickets to the event around the university and also the city and neighbouring cities.

The Future of Fashion - ECFS 2016/17

ECFS is back in style with our theme this year ‘The Future of Fashion,’ embracing the energy and dynamism of modern technology and the incorporation of modern fabrics, digital and 3D art. We will be showcasing our confidence with innovation and individuality. 32 new models will walk the runway in clothes selected by designers from not only Edinburgh, but around the UK and Europe. This year we are proud to announce that all proceeds go to Place2Be, the leading national children’s mental health charity - https://www.place2be.org.uk/
