Menswear designer EE's summer collection draws inspiration from this quote by artist Magdalena Abakanowicz. The pieces from the collection grew from this idea of masking and revealing; sheer layers are paired with laser cut leather, hand-finished with crochet and embroidery.
This layered and artisanal aesthetic was carried over to the lookbook. The Japanese binding mirrors the crocheted edges of the garments, while sheer paper and laser cut details communicate the layered effect. As a nod to the artist's quote, the cover is simple, and a watercolour spine runs down the reverse.
