I am always drawn to the frailness and tenderness of pregnant women, having experienced it myself. In this series I wanted to intimately showcase some of the mental states expectant women endure. These are photographs from last month (Jan) of my childhood friend whom I rarely see because of the long distance between us. This was the first and only time I will get to see her pregnant. I was asked to take portraits of her in her bedroom.
