The ‘Rhapsody’ muse is based on Michelle Pfeiffer’s character from the 1983 film, Scarface. Her character ‘Elvira Hancock’ is the embodiment of high-gloss 80’s style. Her liquid satin Sapphire Blue slip dress worn in the film influenced one of the key colours of the story, which is translated into a rich satin two-piece and our hero midaxi faux fur coat. Key elements include notorious batwing sleeves seen on a luxe gunmetal dress and plunging necklines formed by functional wrap details leaving the décolletage free to be adorned. Plush velvets, floral devores and satins command the collection, further emphasizing the 70’s ‘jet-setter’ feel. Animalistic patterns dominating the catwalks influenced the addition of our zebra print, which sat back with the sapphire blues presented a compelling collection.
