Emotional Walls

  • Zahraa Karim

I created walls of research on people's hope's, fears and confessions of themselves, their children, their friends, their community, and their future. Instructions and pens were left on the wall, and if people wanted to engage with it, they were free to; most interestingly they filled within a few hours with myself out of sight. The wall gave hope to those who didn't even think they needed that reminder, the wall held an individual's fear next to one of another, the wall whispered the secrets of Manchester, the wall served its function.
