Encounters on the Shop Floor

V&A Research Institute (VARI) project. Artists, musicians, surgeons, anthropologists, historians, scientists and curators investigate 'ways of knowing' described as embodied knowledge and work towards a model for including fine hand skills in higher education. The V&A's collections provide a hub for productive encounters between expert embodied-knowledge makers and 'made' objects.
