ENVIRONMENTAL TRIGGERS OF DEMENTIA

Challenge Research into the different types of dementia and understand the environmental triggers of dementia. Goal Demonstrate and explain the early signs of this disease through a range of visual and textured materials, helping the viewer to empathise with their experience. Solution The final design was an unbound book that included wooden bookmarks telling stories of people suffering from dementia. A little book informing someone of the environmental triggers of dementia. Pages on the trigger topics (screen print, etched, and printed techniques) and acrylic etched lines spread.
