Problem: Equal Care Co-op’s social care platform was sometimes unintuitive, and did not have a great mobile experience. Therefore, it was not easy to learn or navigate, and basically had big lists of information that were difficult for users to consume. This meant that Equal Care Co-op needed a platform that worked well for their governance structure, technophobic employees, and mobile-friendly for care workers that are on-the-go giving support. Challenge: To enhance the responsive and accessible Equal Care Co-op social care platform by doing the following: - Designing usability improvements, including the dashboard, header, navigation, and booking calendar. - Designing new features, such as chatbot notifications, additional dashboard features, payments & invoicing, membership tools, and a training tracker.
