Meaning: love-writing or to write about love.
Erotographie is a performance piece, where visitors of the exhibition are invited to enter the space of an imaginary poet and write a love letter or a poem using a typewriter. A typewriter allows writers to stay anonymous if they wish. The visitors who prefer not to express their personal thoughts on paperwill be offered to retype quotes or poems of different international authors. Later these letters will be placed in envelopes along with the note about this project and sent to random addresses around the world.This project aims to remind people of the world about love and how pleasant it is to receive a physical letter in our modern technological era.
