Ars Musica (a Brussels' annual contemporary music international festival) gave ERG the opportunity to expose themselves by working around this year's musical theme: minimal music from the early 60's.
Visual transcription of three pieces (In C by Terry Riley, Music For 18 Musicians by Steve Reich and Einstein On The Beach by Philip Glass) was made starting with a single pixel data information. That information would then be imported in a DAW (an audio edition software if you like) and I could then modulate this data within the software by applying typical characteristics of minimal music (like looping, repetition, phasing effects,...)
