Experiements in Arts & Technology, 'The Human Digital Orchestra' (Montagu Square) 2016

World's first original artist show with the HUMAN DIGITAL ORCHESTRA™. Nokia Bell Labs invited musician and innovator Beatie Wolfe to perform the world's first original artist show with the Human Digital Orchestra to the 5,000 crowd of Propeller Festival NYC on May 20, 2016

The London singer songwriter, known for “seeing music differently”, will choreograph, together with the multi Grammy, Oscar & Nobel prize winning Bell Labs team, the first original artist show using the multi-dimensional Human Digital Orchestra platform which allows the audience to effect sonic, visual and sensory elements of Beatie’s performance in real time.
Human Digital Orchestra is a multi-dimensional performance dedicated to the fusion of art and technology. The Human Digital Orchestra was conceived as a foundational element for the re-start of Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T) that Bell Labs pioneered 50 years ago.
The performance featured the Human Digital Orchestra, which is comprised of multimedia elements (music, video, spoken word) that are orchestrated and conducted by both the movement of musician and innovator Beatie Wolfe - performing her own original material – as well as that of the Propeller Festival audience itself.  The movement of the audience through the multimedia digital ether will modify and enhance the performance, rendering each show entirely unique. OZO from Nokia Technologies, the first virtual reality camera to capture 360° spherical video and full 3D spatial audio, was used to heighten the performance experience.
