After the civil war in the former Yugoslavia, a large number of factories were destroyed or abandoned. And after 25 years, a large number of people from this European area are hopeless, without jobs, living in poverty. Some of them are still trapped in memory and are seeking freedom. They patiently want freedom of thought, freedom of life, and a ray of optimistic light. This Editorial is part of Art-Photo project “eXruins” as a recognition of their persistence.
