Ezra Amarfio is a luxury men's accessory brand that marries traditional looks with a modern mood. Artisanal production is at the forefront of this young business, with manufacturing done solely in established British and Italian ateliers.
The finest herringbones, tartans, silks and Liberty prints are crafted into ties, pocket squares, scarves and bow ties. With their choice colours and cool presentation, this perfect compromise between old and new means the well-heeled millennial man need not shy away from classical accents.
Ezra Amarfio asked me to write all of their website content upon launch in 2016. They had already completed their lookbook shoot and needed the accompanying text to be a natural, seamless fit, accurately relaying their ethos and aesthetic while setting the tone of voice for all future communications.

Ezra Amarfio is a contemporary men’s accessory brand, firmly rooted in British heritage.
Our impeccably crafted collection of ties, bow ties, pocket squares and scarves is infused with the spirit of the classic English gentleman, presenting perfect compliments to traditional tailoring.
Developed with a view to renew interest in artisanal British production, we focus on using local technical knowledge and resources. Our individually handcrafted pieces are testament to a country rich in know-how and heritage. Fabrics such as Ancient madder, silk Grenadine, Scottish cashmere, merino wool and Harris tweed narrate our affinity for fine textures and sophisticated hues. Synonymous with culture, these fabrics tell a story of ambitious exploits, leisurely escapades and a lifestyle that calls for considered sartorial choices.
Crisp textures, tactile checks and sumptuous silks channel this polished, rakish appeal, with subtle updates. Unexpected contradictions, sleek construction and uncompromising finishes are the hallmarks of Ezra Amarfio.

Sourcing only the most premium fabrics from world renowned British and Italian mills and employing the expertise of the most skilled artisans, every element of construction is purposefully considered. Distinct weaves and colour combinations echo historical influences, creating a recognisably classic look that is easily incorporated into the modern wardrobe.
Our ethos is one of integration. We aim to evoke all the emotion and esteem of an old world attitude, reworking this with contemporary touches. These time-honoured traditions are captured by a forward-thinking, London-based creative team who reference the global sartorial community, with its craft and design heritage and elegantly adventurous spirit, adding our particular brand of cosmopolitan sophistication. As such, we work with two of the last surviving historical British tie makers, both with roots dating back to the 1800’s. These meaningful collaborations maintain an exclusive, handmade quality that speaks to generations of well-dressed gentlemen.
Always handcrafted in small runs, never machine-made or mass produced and never made from synthetic fibres, our accessories retain their precious, alluring nature. Exacting dimensions, hand-rolled edges, slip stitching and other tried and true manufacturing methods ensure a finish consistent with the most established tailoring houses.
