This was a project for F&F designing children's back to school shoes.
With children's footwear it is important to sell to both the parent and the child. I did this by maintaining safety and practical aspects such as a retro reflective mud guard, breathable airflow lining and grip sole. I also combined this with fun detachable accessories for the children, allowing these shoes to be adapted to be worn outside of school.
As F&F are present in not only the UK market, I designed separate colourways for the US market which have less strict footwear guidelines at school.
