This collection is based on androgynous styles, with women wearing menswear. I chose to pick the movement ‘free the nipple’ as I was keen in the work of Rebecca Warren. Her choice of expressing women’s rights and not being afraid to show curves or body parts inspired me.
My pieces are based on denim wear, however, the use of other fabrics such as fishnet and fur created an urban and bold attitude for the customer.
People such as Rihanna, Willow Smith, and Amandla Steinberg were muses for this collection because they show a strong and powerful sense of style in the fashion industry/media.
