This is my final project.
I made a suggestion to reuse an old photocemical factory as the Hungarian Architectural Museum (HAM/or MÉM-Magyar Építészeti Múzeum)
The HAM practicaly a non existing museum, it has no exhibiting place, no proper storage, no restoration rooms. Only offices.
In this project i had to design the Museum itself together with the building.
The choosen site is an eleven story tall concrete tower, originally bulid for photoemulsion production. It has no windows, but has a very flexible structure to use as a museum.
My idea was to design the overall museum. When you enter the building everything is the part of the exhibition, you can explore everything inside the building, and understand the importance the HAM.
Which is collecting restoring and protecting the Hungarian and hopefully the world's architectural heritage.
