FALLEN LEAFS

For my second year collection I took inspiration from the 1970's style clothing. I was drawn to the exaggerated flares and bold prints of the clothing. I took these elements and created them in my own contemporary style by using creative pattern cutting. The patterns were layed on a 90 degree angle which created an exaggerated flare for the dress and pants with added chifon triangles at the sides. I created the print my drawings flowers i had in my house then heatpressed onto the white crepe. I added machine embroidery ontop to create depth and texture.
