Falling Up; An Exercise In Antigravity

This project aimed to inform the redesign of the book as a visual object. Inspired by gravitational theory, I was intrigued by the possibility of finding space free from the force of gravity.

The clear acrylic frame I produced was lined with nine neodymium magnets and threaded with steel letters, which were held suspended in space. The gravity acting on them was counteracted by the force of magnetism, allowing them to remain static.
