This was shot in Como, Italy in the Palace Hotel. This fashion shot was taken in The Palace Hotel, now a Villa d'Este property in Como, Italy, during a remodeling in Como, Italy in 1985, within 2 weeks after I moved there. This hotel has a residential side as well as a hotel side. This staircase led to the residences. The wardrobe pulled by the wardrobe stylist was amazing as was the location. The make up artist, Francis, and the make up artist, Gary, were very good at their craft. To me the candelabra prop was one of the keys of the success of this image. This was shot in 1985 on color slide film, hence the grain showing.
