FITCH (Content Creation & Marketing Coordination)

FITCH is a brand and retail design consultancy with a deep understanding of the physical, human and digital dynamics of the consumer experience. With 15 studios across the globe, FITCH creates unique offerings for high profile brands like adidas, B&Q, Brown-Forman, Dell, Hamleys, H&M, Lexus, Mars, Philips and Sberbank.
My role as Global Marketing Coordinator at FITCH involves the support of worldwide marketing initiatives across all studios, including the website, social media, internal communications and benchmarking.
Content Writing
Working closely with the Global Marketing Director, I maintain the agency’s tone of voice and manage the flow of content for FITCH’s website and social media. My responsibilities include:
  • Writing and editing copy, finding images and publishing content daily
  • Liaising with FITCH regional marketing teams
  • Ghostwriting thought leadership articles for different members of the FITCH team on topics including customer experience, design, and retail.
  • Raising standards of written and visual content on FITCH’s digital platforms and print publications.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with marketing co-ordinators and managers across regions to promote information sharing
Writing Case Studies and Entry Submissions
I also worked on more strategic projects like submitting entries into annual awards competitions for advertising, design and retail. As part of the wider marketing team, I worked closely with creative directors, clients and designers in all steps of the award submission process to ensure that their campaigns have the best chance of winning. Responsibilities include:
  • Formulating ideas and conducting background research
  • Writing case studies and entry submissions for awards such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, Eurobest and Transform Awards (MENA)
  • Writing video scripts and other promotional material
Website
Being a point of contact for regional marketing teams at FITCH, I am responsible for fully understanding the website's Content Management System. This enables me to:
  • Provide guidance on tone of voice and imagery.
  • Ensure CMS guidelines are up to date and train new starters in marketing on updating the news pages and image requirements.
  • Ensure regional news posts fit within guidelines and take appropriate steps to work with regional contact to ensure guidelines are met.
  • Liaise with our web developers, reporting bugs and tracking their resolution via Slack

Social Media
I support our Global Marketing Director with monitoring FITCH global social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, SlideShare, Vimeo and YouTube. I also:
  • Maintain the social content plan by liaising with regional offices to keep a regular flow of content scheduled, work with them to come up with ideas
  • Within working hours, respond to posts mentioning FITCH or directing them to the appropriate regional social media representatives
