Founding Norwich Dance Society

I started Norwich Dance Society in response to the lack of dance spaces in Norwich and its inclusion of ages and experience. I was looking for a group to join weekly and dance with, however I found all classes for children. Joining Meetup, I found a huge interest in dance that had not been developed yet and therefore decided to take on this task myself. It started off really well, I had regulars who really enjoyed coming to class. What I learnt from this experience was that I lacked knowledge in business marketing. While I understood my goals, I lacked the ability to achieve them. Therefore, I joined a business class with the University of East Anglia. I understood that my buisness had great potential and customers were eager to learn. However, I also understood that it was not growing in the rate I needed it to and I decided to close my dance classes. It was an extremely valuable experience and I have not given up on trying again in the future with more knowledge and understanding in how to make my dream come true.
