Art Direction, Styling | 2018 SMUK is an emerging fashion brand that creates minimalist tote bags and clutches using a very unique leather material. Made out of genuine leather, the simplicity and elegance of this material create the illusion of a fragile paper. Departing from this one of a kind texture, we came up with a very playful yet romantic concept for this its fashion shoot. To portray the sensual side of the manic dream girl, we created a laid back style, with a natural setting and daylight. We wanted to take the glamour out from of fashion photography and capture a realistic fantasy. We used film photography and left in little details that reveal the context.
