From Dish Washer To Video Creator - Hungry and Foolish Episode 1 | Custom Flavour Origins

When I first arrived to Scotland 10 years ago, I had big ambitions but zero idea what my purpose here actually was. I had no skills, not much experience, and the level of English I spoke was not good enough to get a decent job. I started off by working two shitty ones - one as a cleaner in a supermarket and one as a pot wash in a restaurant. I made friends, I lived my life and enjoyed myself, but I couldn’t really tell what I was really supposed to be doing in this world. After a while, I gradually improved my English and got better jobs in restaurants around the city, but I still didn’t know how this tied in to who I was meant to be. I had to believe it would all work out in the end somehow. Today, I know that those experiences helped me improve my social skills, gave me humility and knowledge, and helped me develop my personality. They also helped me to overcome my insecurities and I now help and encourage others to do the same. By happy accident, I learned that I'm good at making people smile and feel good about themselves on camera. Filmed and edited by Aalyn Wild.
