a collection of work i produced for Pre-Degree Show. Inspired by the act of fumage art, where a lit candle brushes against a canvas and the smoke acts a the mark such as paint or pencil. Instead I changed the material from canvas to blank processes film. The smoke generated from the flame smudges the film while the flame it self melts and alters the structure of the film, twisting it into something new.
