George FM Beats in the Burbs was a brand campaign that covered it's own marketing costs via ticket sales.
I ran four events over four weeks in the suburbs of Auckland, New Zealand. North, South, East and West. This concept came about after complaints from listeners about music events always being in the central city making it difficult to travel to and from.
Every event sold out with queues for door sales on the night, covering all production, marketing, promotional costs and created revenue for the station.
The events were promoted via the radio station, paid social media, digital and street campaigns.
To match the event posters, I created quirky A3 posters that were placed within the venue and on social media in the lead up to the events.
