As part of my final year project, I am currently looking at the language that is used around gender. "You punch like a girl...You fight like a girl" are phases that often gets thrown around without any thoughts. Inspired by This Girl Can, I went to the sports centre at university to see if the women on the hockey team felt that they have been looked down on in sports. Using the research gathered, I had created a short animation. I hope that from watching this, people can realise what girls could go through when they play sports - they shouldn't be treated differently because of their gender!
