An ongoing personal series, 'Glaikit', which explores the use of my Glaswegian language through self portraits and a character Nigel.
The word Glaikit is slang for looking glazed over or detached, almost dumbed down. I have created a character, Nigel, slang for loneliness or a sense of isolation who I shoot in the studio.
I am interested in creating work that questions the viewers perception of digital manipulation. All my work is shot in camera, with only basic colour adjustments.
