Going Postal

Student brief to design a hardback book
cover and dust jacket incorporating
a handmade element.

Taking inspiration from key narrative
elements of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld
novel ‘Going Postal’, I hand punched
holes to resemble postal stamp
perforations. Gold leaf was also
positioned behind the holes referencing
the postmaster’s uniform and fire which
engulfs the post office.
