The collection is clean, contemporary and colourful, inspired by the stunning terrain and sulphur pools at Dallol volcano, Ethiopia. My research lead me on to explore flowing magma which became visualised through shape making and textile sampling. The garment construction was influenced by Amelia Earhart's androgynous sense of style, but I stripped back the fastenings and top stitching to produce a slick, more feminine aesthetic.
