Graduate Collection - Animal Print Updated With Soft Contemporary Tailoring

S/S 2021 collection is inspired by my love of animal print. Research into how animal print is always used within fashion inspired the start of my work. Specifically, the boldness of prints being worn for a dramatic effect. From observing animals, and drawing quick sketches these were then developed into more abstract styles for a modern update of animal print. Traditional tailoring styles influenced the clean cut shapes and detailed finishings. For a modern interpretation of this, the finishings of the inside of garments are finished in contrast. Clashing pink and green with monochrome is striking and makes you feel powerful and confident whilst wearing them.
