Graphcore IPU and Rack Chassis

Graphcore has developed a new type of computer chip, the Intelligence Processing Unit (IPU) optimised for Ai. Pentagram developed the identity which was then interpreted for the physical design of the PCIe card and custom rack enclosure (containing eight PCIe cards) The use of colourful patterned and plastic tiles on each PCIe aims to humanise powerful computing.
