Grime [Playlist]

Grime [Playlist] Personal Project 2020 - I discovered the Grime 2.0 playlist on Apple Music and really liked the type design for the project. Using this as the Initial Inspiration, I created a short project to design a modern logo type for a fictional grime playlist. I started the project with rough sketches on paper to explore my ideas for geometric, interlocking letter forms. I knew from the start of the project that I wanted futuristic, experimental type forms that reflected grime culture. I took inspiration from Gundam models for the letter forms, and the way overlapping shapes can combine to create Interesting forms.
