Guardians of the Orb is a project I completed in the second term of my second year studying the FdA Tailoring course at the London College of Fashion. It was in collaboration with Harris Tweed, and we were given some tweed to use for our outfits. I made one final tailored outfit from my designs. My inspiration for the title came from looking at the Harris Tweed logo. I thought about football players singing the national anthem before a match, and how they are singing about their loyalty to the queen. My projects reflects a combination of ornate clothing associated with royalty, mixed with details found on sportswear.
