Bon Iver’s album “For Emma Forever Ago” evokes a deep sense of loneliness, hushed intimacy, and heartache. I redesigned the vinyl cover to convey this solitary time of longing, loss, and desperation compressed. The bleeding white rose is a symbol that amidst all the emotional turmoil and lack of perspective purging his soul, hope emerges in the stillness. The winter is slowly fading.
