Head full of dreams

  • Octavio Di Gianni
This was one of my first serious* shoots ever and also of the first rolls I used with a recently purchased Canon A-1. A friend told me about pushing film and I immediately was interested, so I gave it a try. This roll was the first time I shot in black and white, and the first time I pushed the film.
*(I say serious shooting because it was the first time I was taking photos with a specific purpose and with goals and targets in mind. Instead of just for fun/myself. Mostly, the purpose was experimenting.)
Quite obviously, this gallery or collection does not make much sense, and I honestly do not care about that, because it was not my purpose. For this roll I mainly wanted to experiment with both b/w and pushed film, so I just shot my friends, some landscapes, day, night, and played with different textures.
On this gallery you see what I think are the best photographies I got, and I have not included the "bad ones", like some I took at a park in Milano, which look confusing and kind of creepy, or some other I took of friends which look too dark due to the high contrast.
