Heinz - Global Brand and Design Management

  • Rene Dauphine

From March 2020 to December 2021, I managed the Global master brand implementation for Kraft Heinz. This was mainly ensuring that the master brand guidelines were followed, to be the brand guardian and consultant on anything that required design. The main implementation was challenging as the pack formats and products on the master brand guidelines were very UK specific and often had to be adapted to suit local markets. As I have a lot of experience of managing these global nuances, the stakeholders found it very helpful and came to me for regular advice. As well as managing the design for the point of sale materials, I also helped in the creation of ideas for social media campaigns and online promotions via the major supermarkets in the UK. I had a team of designers who helped me, but I also mucked in where necessary to create visuals and campaign concepts. I created visuals for the Food Service catalogue which was an online platform whereby all of the various countries could purchase items for bars and restaurants. As well as branded merchandise and food service items, there were also POS items which could be ordered.
