HM HAUL

I’m avoiding shopping like the plague at the minute. I need to get out of my Carrie Bradshaw, shopaholic phase. Yes, I’ll confess to my addiction. I somehow always end up ‘browsing’, convincing myself, as I step into the shop, that I probably won’t see anything I like. However, HM always wins me over.
Metallica print vest: These continue to be everywhere. Plenty of online stores, such as Missguided, are producing their own versions of band t-shirts, however I thought this one had bit of edge compared to the others. I think it must have been the striking blue/purple colours.
Gingham wrap-around mini skirt: Gingham is back this season with a fresh frill trim. I loved the fit of the skirt and I thought it would compliment the Metallica vest in an outfit.
Lace bralette: This cute baby pink bralette caught my eye. although I didn’t buy it, it has been playing on my mind, so it could be a future purchase. On the other hand I think I have plenty of delicate bralettes already!
Drawstring sweatshirt: I knew I was going to walk out with this sweatshirt as soon as I saw it. I’ve never seen anything like it in a high-street label, it’s quirky and I really love the gentle, baby blue colour.
Black denim skirt: Why is it so hard to find a decent, tight-fit, denim skirt? I’ve been looking since summer and all the skirts I have come across have either been too A-line or too short! I decided to take matters into my own hands and made this skirt into a mini one by cutting off where the slit starts and fraying the edges. I have to say it’s pretty perfect. (There’s a tip for you girls.)
Powder pink trainers: What surprised me the most was the amount of good quality, affordable trainers and pumps H&M have stocked. I picked up these gorgeous pink trainers to add to my collection. I always seem to go for suede shoes, which is much better now the weather is picking up, however weather forecasts can still let you down.
