Hold Places. My Land

"What you do not see, what is there"
Project that was born from the desire to document a part of the Venetian province, territory where I was born and raised. A look that lingers and try to analyze what is changing the landscape for urban, suburban and countryside, and its changes, the buildings, the abandoned areas and requalification of some areas.
Where the environment seems to have been completely abandoned and nature has taken possession of the structures with an appearance that oscillates between the desolate solitude and the romance, the presence of the human being can breathe and feels, not only in an attempt to re-evaluate and restructure some ruins and buildings now left to decay, but also simply for survival, provocation, freedom and perhaps extreme necessity.
Ongoing project that aspires to tell places and non-places of the province from the point of view of architecture and landscape photography as a tool of critical inquiry and artistic solitude, presence, absence, historical baggage cultural tradition, new, old. Abandonment, revitalization, renovation, rehabilitation, core insulation, land use, return to origins, love for the land, industrial archeology, cars, nature, human, city centers, suburbs, old stations, places of life and exchange, movement, passage , work.
