Memory kit designed to be 3D printed in outer-space helps tackle homesickness. Supported by The British Interplanetary Society, the worlds oldest space advocacy society, and Peli-Hardigg, the worlds largest manufacturer of aerospace approved reusable plastic cases.

Inspired by the future of outer-space travel, and life away from the familiar comfort of Earth, the project tackles the associated psychological stresses experienced by those leaving home. Looking at the power of memories as physical manifestations, HOME1 creates a mutli-sensory experience reminscent of home in the one of the most extreme situations known to mankind.
Featuring faceted forms and a triangular window inspired by the original Lunar Module, the case houses photographs, written messages and voice notes.

The product houses INSTAX mini polaroids, as well as a voice recording module powered by an ISD1820 chip.
