Brief:
Create posters for the entertainment company Hoodwise to assist in attracting young adults aged 16 - 35 to their events. The events contained art exhibition, live artist and live painting at times.
Events were held at various venues in Bondi Beach. Hoodwise received sponsoring by Tiger after first set of posters were created.
Response:
The posters were inspired by urban environments, hip-hop art and graffiti and were hand drawn before executed in Illustrator and InDesign.
The first posters concept was derived from the urban phenomenon ‘shoe tossing’. One shoe was replaced with a microphone, which symbolized a music event was to take place in the local area.
