HSBC #TogetherWeThrive Campaign

This campaign is for HSBC and it set to be launched post COVID-19 when things are starting to get back to normal. It’s targeted at the first travellers to be using airports and has responded to the brief by combining an illustrative and animated approach. The concept of the animation features the triangles of the logo splits to reflect the times of isolation and reveil the isometric HSBC City. The logo then reconnected reflecting how once this is all over we’ll come together and things will be back to normal again. The rate at which it splits and reconnects is supposed to be in line with the U shaped curve of economic recession this has been achieves through the ‘Easy Ease’ effect graph editor in After Effects. The city has vehicles that are animated to show that despite sad these times and restrictions HSBC is still in operation. The city features selected landmarks which have a connection to HSBC and response to their five key values outlined in the brief. The twelve second animation has been placed in Airport billboards to display what they would look like in situation.
