Humble Beginnings derives from the idea of those ‘Humble Heroes’ that are found in every community. The people that have a lot to be proud of but shy away from the limelight and this schools programme endeavours to celebrate their stories and talents. Humble Beginnings works on three levels to integrate youth and the elderly; One-to-One reading, storytime with visiting speakers and activity outreach.
