I moved to Dublin in the early 90’s where becoming entranced by the sound of the Irish Language, here I formed the group Hyper[borea] with the specific aim of fusing ancient Irish sound and melody with electronica. This music was awarded a Heineken Hotpress Award in 1998 and is a project which still continues to this day and has seen me work with Dónal Lunny, Donal Shaw, Cormac Breatnach, Zoe Conway and Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh.
