I created a children's book about a relateable young alien character that doesn't feel like she fits in because she looks different. The book is just an intro to a game that would be attached to the back inside-cover. The idea was to make a fun game that kids would love to play and to get them back into reading whilst subtly teaching them a little about being inclusive.
Above is the lead character's concept art and below is an example of one of the environments I created for the game.
Below is the trailer I made for the game. I am not an animator so it isn't my best work and the video is a little jumpy between scenes but you can get the idea of what the game would be like from it. The scenery and characters are put together from the concept art rather than being fully finished game assets.
