I Am Creative

I Am Creative brings students real creative briefs from some of the biggest companies in the UK who are looking for creative answers to real business problems. With two supporting resource libraries to help teachers deliver an I Am Creative project in the classroom and to help the students answer the brief, the site offers everything needed to deliver an engaging and exciting project for students.

It can be applied across a range of subject areas, both creative and those considered more traditional, helping students to rediscover creativity by working on a real creative brief set by professionals from the business world. It provides a way of adding value to the curriculum, and evidencing your students’ qualifications, progress and skills, while at the same time acting as a careers education tool.

The skills that they will learn will not only help them understand what skills are required to get a job in the creative industry, they will also give your students an edge in any profession through the practical experience they have had. The briefs are competitive; when students upload their idea by the brief deadline, it is submitted to the company, who will judge their ideas against all other entries based on pre-agreed criteria. The winner will win £200 of high street vouchers and a place on our progression group, 'The Ladder'. There will also be one highly commended group chosen by the company, the members of which will also gain a place on 'The Ladder'.
