2019. I Love The Smell of My Pussy is a celebration of both Florentina Holzinger and Krista Papista; a homage to Holzinger’s piece Apollon, and the dialogue it has with Papista as a performer and narrator of the song. Papista and Holzinger share polemic messages unifying this collaboration: An emancipation of the female from patriarchal oppression, rejection of feminine stereotypes and objectified form as subject purely for the male gaze – as well as a celebration of self- pleasure, pain and sisterhood. These artists are provocateurs, making bold feminist statements in their respective fields. At the center of the stage is a mechanical bull, which is later stripped down to its rudimentary mechnical frame. In one instance mounted for masturbation, and in another background to the cast in a chain connected to one another by strap-on, symbolising the deconstructed redundance of man.
