Illustration: Wonderings series for Lonely Planet

I was commissioned by the Editor of Lonely Planet to come up with an illustration that would be the header image for a new opinion-based content strand called 'Wonderings'. I wanted to capture the feeling of being transported and having time to reflect, so decided on illustrating a train window and a single figure gazing out the window. This illustration has featured on articles including: Is it time to find your dream job in travel? What can you do about overtourism? Are the stars our destination? Has tourism become toxic in 2018?
