Independent Magazine // Dog's Life

For my final project at Nottingham Trent University, we were asked to plan and put together our own magazine, using our journalistic and technical skills we had learnt from the course. All words are my own and I used Adobe InDesign to create the spreads. The main element of Dog's Life is to highlight the social life of dogs and their owners. For example, which hotels to stay at, what restaurants to visit that are dog friendly and even what exercise classes to go to. I was inspired by my sister, who is a proud 'petparent' (yes, she calls herself that) and is absolutely smitten with her dogs. We are constantly on the hunt for places we can take the dog but with such an abundant amount of information, Dog's Life aims to cut through the noise and be the number one source for all things dog travel.
