Interference Patterns | We Lived Like Strangers

Interference Patterns has been a project sponsored by New Dots that saw it’s final result on 3rd November 2014 at King’s Place with a screening and live performance of the acclaimed Ensemble Matisse Quartet. The project sponsored the collaboration between a filmmaker (Giorgio Bosisio) and a contemporary classical music composer (Daniel Kidane) to develop an free form audio-visual piece.

Super8 footage collected travelling around Europe mixed with archive footage found in an abandoned hotel in Switzerland find their way through the musical arabesques Daniel has created.

"A new thing for me, something more instinctive, non-scripted, more challenging, a research, a tiring journey through the psychological cycles of life, a ritual, a silent quest in my shy attempt to be truthful behind the camera. " G. Bosisio
